Every claim is treated on its presenting merits so it is important that your application form is completed correctly and with all supporting evidence.
ASBF working to help others
We urgently need you to assist us to help others by working to raise vital funds. Whether its taking on a sponsored challenge. Becoming a station champion and helping to promote the asbf within your service or simply making a purchase from our fundraising shop.
We are still a relatively small Charity and it is our ambition to be able to provide welfare and assistance at the same level as the other emergency services and Military Charities. A big ambition yes, but an achievable one with your help. Your support in fundraising will be greatly appreciated by someone in need, thank you.

Legacies the gift of a lifetime!
Including a Charity in your Will is such an amazing thing to do! The average person will call an ambulance at least once in a life time so why not give a little back to those who give so much.
Charity legacies are the foundation for causes like ours. Without gifts we wouldn’t be able to do such amazing work in helping serving and former ambulance personnel. The problem is that many of our supporters don’t know that including a Charity in their Will is an option.
We would like you and as many people as possible just to take a moment to think about leaving the gift of a lifetime to our Charity.
Every gift helps, every little helps and can make a big difference. If just 4% more of the population included a Charity in their Will, it would generate an additional £1 billion for Charities in the UK every year. Just imaging the difference that could make to the work we do and yes, you could be a part of it!
Writing a Will is one of the most important things any one of us will ever do. All we ask is that after you have taken care of your family and friends in your will you take a moment and think about including the ASBF. It’s that simple, just give our details to your professional advisor when you write or update your Will. Why not discuss the matter with your friends and encourage them too, statistically, everyone will call an ambulance once in their life time, why not express your gratitude by leaving a gift, however large or small, to help those who helped you!
We strongly recommend you discuss these matters with and use the services of a professional Will maker.
With over 70 items now within our shop there is something for everyone and for every occasion. If there is something you feel is missing then please let us know we are always open to new ideas we aim to please as well as fundraise!
